The following terms and conditions govern any Transaction relating to the sale, or attempted sale, of Merchandise by Watch Rapport.
How We Operate.
Our goal is to sell you a gently used luxury watch of your choice, first rate quality for a competitive price. What makes Watch Rapport the premier company to buy from is due to our individualized and specialized care we provide to our discerning buyers. We make available to you our Site, which is designed to provide information as to the many different styles, sizes, colors, metals, stones, etc., of any watch you may desire. With that being said, Watch Rapport does not want to represent that all the Merchandise that a buyer sees on the Site is in inventory and ready for purchase.

Once you make your choice and place your order, we start the process of finding exactly the watch of your wishes. Thus, unfortunately, we cannot make any guarantees or promises on the exact delivery date or transaction fulfillment. We may be able to obtain your dream watch from one of our many sellers within a day or two. However, it may take longer depending on the uniqueness of your order. Of course, Watch Rapport will work diligently and expeditiously to locate the Merchandise and get it to you. If you feel we are not working within your expected timeframe, your order is always backed by our 100% money-back-guarantee. Should you request a refund, no problem, but no refund shall ever accrue any interest no matter how long Watch Rapport has been holding on to the money you paid.

Watch Rapport will use its best efforts to keep you informed of our progress. But reoccurring communication is not mandatory and it is the sole responsibility of you to contact us if you want an order update or any information relating to the transaction.
Risk of Loss; International Shipments.
All Merchandise sold by Watch Rapport is sold pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. For Merchandise shipped to a jurisdiction outside the U.S. or in territories of the U.S., you, as the purchaser, are required to pay customs charges, as well as any associated import tax, VAT, or duties. Watch Rapport is unable to provide specific customs charges for each purchase as policies vary greatly by country. You are encouraged to contact your local customs office for pricing estimates. Watch Rapport will include a copy of the invoice for the Merchandise with every purchase, and each country will determine applicable fees based upon such invoice. Watch Rapport will not label an item as a gift or declare a lesser value on the invoice than the purchase price paid. Watch Rapport will issue a refund of the purchase price actually received by Watch Rapport, minus all shipping and customs charges incurred as well as a restocking fee in such amount as reasonably determined by Watch Rapport, for any Merchandise returned to Watch Rapport by customs officials due to you, as the purchaser, refusing such Merchandise at customs.

Depending on the reason we suspended your account, we'll send you details via email on steps how to reinstate your account.

If your account was restricted or suspended because of outstanding seller costs or a refund reimbursement, you can make a one-time payment to resolve the issue. When we receive your payment, your account will be reinstated.

What happens while an account is suspended
When your Watch Rapport account is suspended, you won't be able to:

  • Negotiate offers
  • Buy, sell, or trade
  • Leave reviews
  • Receive refunds
  • Start a return
  • Receive credits
  • Apply discounts

If you’re a seller, your payouts will be placed on hold until the hold, restriction or suspension on your account is lifted.

Account verification holds

When you start buying or selling on Watch Rapport, we may need to confirm your identity. We may place a temporary hold on your account until we can verify your details. Once verification is complete, we’ll email you to let you know that the hold has been lifted so you can start buying and selling.

If your account is on hold, restricted, or suspended, we’ll send an email to your registered email address explaining why. We’ll also let you know what you need to do before it can be reinstated.

ANY ORAL OR WRITTEN ADVICE PROVIDED BY WATCH RAPPORT OR ITS AUTHORIZED AGENTS WILL NOT BE DEEMED TO CREATE ANY WARRANTY. Limitation of Liability.
ALL INFORMATION, CONTENT, MATERIALS, MERCHANDISE AND OTHER SERVICES INCLUDED ON OR OTHERWISE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU BY US OR THROUGH THE SITE ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED IN WRITING.

TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY APPLICABLE LAW, WATCH RAPPORT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, RELATING TO MERCHANDISE, TRANSACTIONS, AND THE SERVICES PROVIDED BY WATCH RAPPORT TO YOU.

IN ALL EVENTS THROUGHOUT THESE TERMS OF USE, YOU AGREE THAT THE LEGAL LIMIT OF OUR LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS OR ACTIONS FOR LOST, DAMAGED, OR DESTROYED MERCHANDISE THAT YOU SENT TO US SHALL NOT EXCEED THE LESSER OF OUR OFFER TO YOU OR $1,000.00 PER TRANSACTION. CERTAIN STATE LAWS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS, EXCLUSIONS, OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MIGHT HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.

Not limiting the pervious sentence, you agree that the above limitations of liability together with the other provisions in these Terms of Use that limit liability are essential terms of these Terms of Use and that Watch Rapport would not be willing to grant you the rights set forth in these Terms of Use but for your agreement to the above limitations of liability. You are agreeing to these limitations of liability to induce Watch Rapport to grant you the rights set forth in these Terms of Use.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Watch Rapport, its officers, directors, managers, members, employees, attorneys, agents, affiliates, licensors and suppliers (collectively the “Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all claims, costs, damages, losses, expenses, fines, and penalties, including, but not limited to, reasonable attorneys’ fees, incurred by any of the Indemnified Parties resulting from or arising out of or in connection with any breach or violation of these Terms of Use by you or anyone acting on your behalf, or your violation of any rights of a third party, or any unauthorized use of the Services, or your negligence or willful misconduct or as a result of any false or materially misleading information provided by you to Watch Rapport (including, without limitation your representations and warranties to Watch Rapport regarding ownership of the Merchandise and your authority to sell the Merchandise to Watch Rapport).
Arbitration and Class Action Waiver.
This Section includes an arbitration agreement and an agreement that all claims will be brought only in an individual capacity (and not as a Class Action or other representative proceeding). Please read it carefully. You may opt out of the arbitration agreement by following the opt out procedure described below.

Class Action Waiver: Any Claim (as defined below) must be brought in the respective party’s individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, representative, multiple plaintiffs, or similar proceeding (“Class Action”). The parties expressly waive any ability to maintain any Class Action in any forum. If the Claim is subject to arbitration, the arbitrator will not have authority to combine or aggregate similar claims or conduct any Class Action nor make an award to any person or entity not a party to the arbitration. Any claim that all or part of this Class Action Waiver is unenforceable, unconscionable, void, or voidable may be determined only by a court of competent jurisdiction and not by an arbitrator. The parties understand that any right to litigate in court, to have a judge or jury decide their case, or to be a party to a class or representative action, is waived, and that any claims must be decided individually, through arbitration.

If this Class Action waiver is found to be unenforceable, then the entirety of the Arbitration Agreement, if otherwise effective, will be null and void. The arbitrator may award declaratory or injunctive relief only in favor of the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to provide relief warranted by that party’s individual claim. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration, you and Watch Rapport each waive any right to a jury trial.

1. Informal Process First. You agree that in the event of any dispute between you and Watch Rapport, you will first contact Watch Rapport and make a good faith sustained effort to resolve the dispute before resorting to more formal means of resolution, including without limitation any court action.

2. Arbitration Agreement. After the informal dispute resolution process, any remaining dispute, controversy, or claim (collectively, “Claim”) relating in any way to your use of the Services and/or Watch Rapport’s Merchandise, including the Services, or relating in any way to the communications between you and Watch Rapport or any other user of the Services, will be finally resolved by binding arbitration. This mandatory arbitration agreement applies equally to you and Watch Rapport. However, this arbitration agreement does not (a) govern any Claim by Watch Rapport for infringement of its intellectual property or access to the Services that is unauthorized or exceeds authorization granted in these Terms of Use or (b) bar you from making use of applicable small claims court procedures in appropriate cases.

Arbitration is more informal than a lawsuit in court. There is no judge or jury in arbitration. Instead, the dispute is resolve by a neutral arbitrator. Court review of an arbitration award is limited. Except to the extent the parties agree otherwise, arbitrators can award the same damages and relief that a court can award. However, you agree that the Arbitrator shall not have the right to award consequential, punitive, speculative, indirect, incidental, special, or exemplary damages. You agree that the U.S. Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this provision, and that you and Watch Rapport are each waiving the right to a trial by jury or to participate in a Class Action. You expressly agree that any such Arbitrator has personal jurisdiction over you. You waive all defenses of lack of personal jurisdiction and forum non-convenience. You agree to abide by all decisions and awards rendered in such Arbitration proceedings, and that such decisions and awards rendered by the Arbitrator shall be final and conclusive. This arbitration provision will survive any termination of these Terms of Use.

If you wish to begin an arbitration proceeding, after following the informal dispute resolution procedure, you must send a letter requesting arbitration and describing your claim to 297 Kingsbury Grade, Suite 100 Lake Tahoe (Stateline) NV 89449. The arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its rules including, if you are an individual, the AAA’s Supplementary Procedures for Consumer-Related Disputes. If you are not an individual or have used the Services on behalf of an entity, the AAA’s Supplementary Procedures for Consumer-Related Disputes will not be used. The AAA’s rules are available at www.adr.org or by calling 1-800-778-7879.

The number of arbitrators will be one. You may choose to have the arbitration conducted by telephone, based on written submissions. The arbitration will be conducted in Lake Tahoe (Stateline), NV. The arbitration will be conducted in the English language. The AAA rules and the laws of the state of Nevada, excluding its conflicts of law rules, govern these Terms of Use and your use of the Services. Judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having competent jurisdiction thereof.

Payment of all filing, administration and arbitrator fees will be governed by the AAA’s rules. You and we will pay the administrative and arbitrator’s fees and other costs in accordance with the applicable arbitration rules, but if the applicable arbitration rules or laws require Watch Rapport to pay a greater portion or all of such fees and costs in order for this section to be enforceable, then Watch Rapport will have the right to elect to pay the fees and costs and proceed to arbitration or to decline to do so and have the matter resolved through the courts. The prevailing party will be entitled to costs, reasonable attorneys’ fees, which may by the court in the same action or in a separate action brought for that purpose, in addition to any other relief to which that party may be entitled.

The arbitrator, and not any federal, state, or local court, will have exclusive authority to resolve any dispute relating to the interpretation, applicability, unconscionability, arbitrability, enforceability, or formation of this arbitration agreement, including any claim that all or any part of this arbitration agreement is void or voidable. However, the preceding sentence will not apply to the “Class Action Waiver” section below.

If you do not want to arbitrate disputes with Watch Rapport and you are an individual, you may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending a letter to 297 Kingsbury Grade, Suite 100 Lake Tahoe (Stateline) NV 89449 within thirty (30) days of the first of the date you access or use the Services.

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are not located in any such country or on any such list. You also agree that you will not use these products for any purposes prohibited by United States law, including, without limitation, the development, design, manufacture or production of nuclear, missiles, or chemical or biological weapons. You are responsible for and hereby agree to comply at your sole expense with all applicable United States export laws and regulations.

4. U.S. Government Restricted Rights. The Services and related documentation are “Commercial Items”, as that term is defined at 48 C.F.R. § 2.101, consisting of “Commercial Computer Software” and “Commercial Computer Software Documentation”, as such terms are used in 48 C.F.R. § 12.212 or 48 C.F.R. § 227.7202, as applicable. Consistent with 48 C.F.R. § 12.212 or 48 C.F.R. § 227.7202-1 through 227.7202-4, as applicable, the Commercial Computer Software and Commercial Computer Software Documentation are being licensed to U.S. Government end users (a) only as Commercial Items and (b) with only those rights as are granted to all other end users pursuant to the terms and conditions herein.

Additionally, Watch Rapport may suspend, disable, or delete your User Account and/or the Services (or any part of the foregoing) with or without notice, for any or no reason. If Watch Rapport deletes your User Account for any suspected breach of these Terms of Use by you, you are prohibited from re-registering for the Services under a different name. In the event of User Account deletion for any reason, Watch Rapport may, but is not obligated to, delete any of Your Content. Watch Rapport shall not be responsible for the deletion of (or failure to delete) Your Content. All sections which by their nature should survive the termination of these Terms of Use shall continue in full force and effect subsequent to and notwithstanding any termination of this Agreement by Watch Rapport or you. Termination will not limit any of Watch Rapport’s other rights or remedies at law or in equity.

8. Waiver. It is expressly understood that in the event either party on any occasion fails to perform any term hereof and the other party does not enforce that term, the failure to enforce on any occasion will not constitute a waiver of any term and will not prevent enforcement on any other occasion.

9. Partial Invalidity. If any provision hereof is or becomes, at any time or for any reason, unenforceable or invalid, no other provision hereof will be affected thereby and the remaining provisions will continue with the same effect as if such unenforceable or invalid provisions will not have been inserted herein; provided that the ability of either party to obtain substantially the bargained-for performance of the other will not have thereby been impaired.

10. Modifications. We may modify these Terms of Use at any time. Modifications become effective immediately upon your first access to or use of the Services after the “Last Revised” date at the top of these Terms of Use. However, it is your sole responsibility to review the Terms of Use from time to time to view any such changes. 15. Force Majeure. Neither Watch Rapport nor you shall be responsible for damages or for delays or failures in performance resulting from acts or occurrences beyond their reasonable control, including, without limitation: epidemic, fire, lightning, explosion, power surge or failure, water, acts of God, war, revolution, civil commotion or acts of civil or military authorities or public enemies: any law, order, regulation, ordinance, or requirement of any government or legal body or any representative of any such government or legal body; or labor unrest, including without limitation, strikes, slowdowns, picketing, or boycotts; inability to secure materials, transportation facilities, fuel or energy shortages, or acts or omissions of other common carriers.

Shipping Information
Watch Rapport offers FREE shipping to its customers worldwide.

Domestic Shipping.
We use FedEx, DHL, UPS and Malca-Amit as our trusted carriers for your purchase; it is fully insured against loss, theft and damage. Watch Rapport insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. Due to the value of your purchase and for your protection along with insurance reasons, we require a signature by an adult (18 years of age or older) to confirm your acceptance of each product delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased merchandise passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you understand and accept that evidence of a signature by such recipient (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfillment of the sales contract by Watch Rapport and transfer of responsibility to the recipient in the same way as if the merchandise had been delivered to you. Once we ship it out and obtain the tracking order number, we will email you the tracking number so you can check the status of your package.

Please be advised that your purchase cannot be rerouted or held at the carrier’s location for pick up. Additionally, regrettably at this time, Watch Rapport cannot deliver to APO, FPO and P.O. Boxes.

Please remember that once you have placed your order, we will work swiftly to secure the watch of your dreams, have it thoroughly inspected and authenticated. Once the process is completed we will ship you your purchase which is usually within 48 hours during normal working times of Mon-Fri 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

International Shipping.
Watch Rapport offers shipping outside of the United States. Not all countries allow luxury items as such; it is your sole responsibility to make sure your purchase can be legally imported into the destination country.

Any customs charges, import/export duties, or other fees and taxes applicable to international shipping orders are your sole responsibility, even if you refuse the shipment on delivery. Some countries charge additional Collect on Delivery (COD) fees, which are collected by the carrier at the time of delivery. No COD charges go to Watch Rapport. Please be advised, that we may provide the international carrier with the product details, including cost (we cannot label an item as a gift or declare a lesser value than the actual purchase price), as well as the buyer’s name and address or other contact details, so that the information can be provided to destination customs or postal authorities, to the extent required under the laws and regulations of the destination country.

In certain cases, customs officers may have the right to delay or deny the delivery of your package; Watch Rapport clearly has no control over that; however we try to do reduce the chance of it happening by shipping with reliable international carriers such as FedEx, DHL, UPS, and Malca-Amit. For more information on international shipping in your country, please contact your local customs office. If you have any other issues or concerns about shipping, please contact us at help@watchrapport.com.
Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC)
The Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) administers and enforces economic sanctions imposed by the United States against foreign countries. Depending on the country, OFAC programs may freeze assets of embargoed countries, prohibit payment of funds to individuals and countries on the embargo list, or prohibit provision of services to countries subject to US sanctions. These sanctions may require obtaining OFAC approval before conducting research or other activities in or involving the sanctioned country. Some sanctions are more restrictive than others, and apply to the whole country, while others are specifically target certain individuals or entities within a country. Currently, sanctioned countries include the Balkans, Belarus, Burma, Cote D'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iran, Iraq, Liberia, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, and Zimbabwe. The list of sanctioned countries is updated periodically and is available here.

See the OFAC website for details and updates on current sanctions programs.

Watch Rapport will comply with the US Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). If any transfer request is to an entity or individual listed on OFAC's list of Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons, by law, Watch Rapport shall not complete the transfer and shall "block or hold" the funds until such time OFAC issues a written release to Watch Rapport. It is the sole responsibility of the Customer to contact OFAC to obtain a valid written release. The Customer understands and agrees that if a written release is not provided, Watch Rapport or the original receiving financial institution reserves the right to hold or block funds until the matter is resolved. Watch Rapport shall have no liability to the Customer as a result of Watch Rapport's rejection of any transfer request or internal transfer if it complies with the terms of this Agreement.

Compliance and Supervisory Procedures for:

Watch Rapport, LLC

Tahoe (Stateline) NV 89449

Watch Rapport Anti-Money Laundering Program Overview

1. Develop internal policies, procedures, and controls
The company has designated Passbase AKA https://passbase.com/aml-compliance/ as its Anti-Money Laundering Program Compliance software service, with full responsibility for the company’s AML program. Passbase has a working knowledge of the BSA and its implementing regulations and is qualified by experience, knowledge and training, including id verification, customer screening, and KYC. The duties of the AML Compliance Person will include monitoring the company’s compliance with AML obligations, overseeing communication and training for employees, and customer KYC. The AML Compliance Person will also ensure that the company keeps and maintains all of the required AML records and will ensure that Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) are filed with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) when appropriate. The AML Compliance Person is vested with full responsibility and authority to enforce the company’s AML program.

The company will provide FINRA with contact information for the AML Compliance Person through the FINRA Contact System (FCS), including: (1) name; (2) title; (3) mailing address; (4) email address; (5) telephone number; and (6) facsimile (if any). The company will promptly notify FINRA of any change in this information through FCS and will review, and if necessary update, this information within 17 business days after the end of each calendar year. The annual review of FCS information will be conducted by Passbase and will be completed with all necessary updates being provided no later than 17 business days following the end of each calendar year. In addition, if there is any change to the information, Passbase will update the information promptly, but in any event not later than 30 days following the change.

2. Giving AML Information to Federal Law Enforcement Agencies and Other Financial Institutions
a. FinCEN Requests Under USA PATRIOT Act Section 314(a)

We will respond to a Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) request concerning accounts and transactions (a 314(a) Request) by immediately searching our records to determine whether we maintain or have maintained any account for, or have engaged in any transaction with, each individual, entity or organization named in the 314(a) Request as outlined in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) located on FinCEN’s secure website. We understand that we have 14 days (unless otherwise specified by FinCEN) from the transmission date of the request to respond to a 314(a) Request. We will designate through the FINRA Contact System (FCS) one or more persons to be the point of contact (POC) for 314(a) Requests and will promptly update the POC information following any change in such information. (See also Section 2 above regarding updating of contact information for the AML Compliance Person.) Unless otherwise stated in the 314(a) Request or specified by FinCEN, we are required to search those documents outlined in FinCEN’s FAQ. If we find a match, Cognito will report it to FinCEN via FinCEN’s Web-based 314(a) Secure Information Sharing System within 14 days or within the time requested by FinCEN in the request. If the search parameters differ from those mentioned above (for example, if FinCEN limits the search to a geographic location), Passbase will structure our search accordingly.

If Passbase searches our records and does not find a matching account or transaction, then Passbase will not reply to the 314(a) Request. We will maintain documentation that we have performed the required search on.

We will not disclose the fact that FinCEN has requested or obtained information from us, except to the extent necessary to comply with the information request. Cognito will review, maintain and implement procedures to protect the security and confidentiality of requests from FinCEN similar to those procedures established to satisfy the requirements of Section 501 of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act with regard to the protection of customers’ nonpublic information.

We will direct any questions we have about the 314(a) Request to the requesting federal law enforcement agency as designated in the request

Unless otherwise stated in the 314(a) Request, we will not be required to treat the information request as continuing in nature, and we will not be required to treat the periodic 314(a) Requests as a government provided list of suspected terrorists for purposes of the customer identification and verification requirements.

1. National Security Letters

We understand that the receipt of a National Security Letter (NSL) is highly confidential. We understand that none of our officers, employees or agents may directly or indirectly disclose to any person that the FBI or other federal government authority has sought or obtained access to any of our records. If we file a SAR after receiving an NSL, the SAR will not contain any reference to the receipt or existence of the NSL. The SAR will only contain detailed information about the facts and circumstances of the detected suspicious activity.

2. Grand Jury Subpoenas

We understand that the receipt of a grand jury subpoena concerning a customer does not in itself require that we file a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR). When we receive a grand jury subpoena, we will conduct a risk assessment of the customer subject to the subpoena as well as review the customer’s account activity. If we uncover suspicious activity during our risk assessment and review, we will elevate that customer’s risk assessment and file a SAR in accordance with the SAR filing requirements. We understand that none of our officers, employees or agents may directly or indirectly disclose to the person who is the subject of the subpoena its existence, its contents or the information we used to respond to it. If we file a SAR after receiving a grand jury subpoena, the SAR will not contain any reference to the receipt or existence of the subpoena. The SAR will only contain detailed information about the facts and circumstances of the detected suspicious activity.

B. Voluntary Information Sharing With Other Financial Institutions Under USA PATRIOT Act Section 314(b)

We will share information with other financial institutions regarding individuals, entities, organizations and countries for purposes of identifying and, where appropriate, reporting activities that we suspect may involve possible terrorist activity or money laundering. Passbase will ensure that the company files with FinCEN an initial notice before any sharing occurs and annual notices thereafter. We will use the notice form found at FinCEN’s website. Accessibility Statement
watchrapport.com - Updated: 01-10-2021

Compliance status

We firmly believe that the internet should be available and accessible to anyone, and are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability. To fulfill this, we aim to adhere as strictly as possible to the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at the AA level. These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities. Complying with those guidelines helps us ensure that the website is accessible to all people: blind people, people with motor impairments, visual impairment, cognitive disabilities, and more. This website utilizes various technologies that are meant to make it as accessible as possible at all times. We utilize an accessibility interface that allows persons with specific disabilities to adjust the website’s UI (user interface) and design it to their personal needs. Additionally, the website utilizes an AI-based application that runs in the background and optimizes its accessibility level constantly. This application remediates the website’s HTML, adapts its functionality and behavior for screen-readers used by blind users, and for keyboard functions used by individuals with motor impairments. Screen-reader and keyboard navigation
Our website implements the ARIA attributes (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) technique, alongside various different behavioral changes, to ensure blind users visiting with screen-readers are able to read, comprehend, and enjoy the website’s functions. As soon as a user with a screen-reader enters your site, they immediately receive a prompt to enter the Screen-Reader Profile so they can browse and operate your site effectively. Here’s how our website covers some of the most important screen-reader requirements, alongside console screenshots of code examples:

1. Screen-reader optimization: we run a background process that learns the website’s components from top to bottom, to ensure ongoing compliance even when updating the website. In this process, we provide screen-readers with meaningful data using the ARIA set of attributes. For example, we provide accurate form labels; descriptions for actionable icons (social media icons, search icons, cart icons, etc.); validation guidance for form inputs; element roles such as buttons, menus, modal dialogues (popups), and others. Additionally, the background process scans all of the website’s images and provides an accurate and meaningful image-object-recognition-based description as an ALT (alternate text) tag for images that are not described. It will also extract texts that are embedded within the image, using an OCR (optical character recognition) technology. To turn on screen-reader adjustments at any time, users need only to press the Alt+1 keyboard combination. Screen-reader users also get automatic announcements to turn the Screen-reader mode on as soon as they enter the website. These adjustments are compatible with all popular screen readers, including JAWS and NVDA.

2. Keyboard navigation optimization: The background process also adjusts the website’s HTML, and adds various behaviors using JavaScript code to make the website operable by the keyboard. This includes the ability to navigate the website using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys, operate dropdowns with the arrow keys, close them with Esc, trigger buttons and links using the Enter key, navigate between radio and checkbox elements using the arrow keys, and fill them in with the Spacebar or Enter key. Additionally, keyboard users will find quick navigation and content-skip menus, available at any time by clicking Alt+1, or as the first element of the site while navigating with the keyboard. The background process also handles triggered popups by moving the keyboard focus towards them as soon as they appear, and not allow the focus to drift outside of it. Users can also use shortcuts such as “M” (menus), “H” (headings), “F” (forms), “B” (buttons), and “G” (graphics) to jump to specific elements.
Disability profiles supported on our website
 - Epilepsy Safe Profile: this profile enables people with epilepsy to use the website safely by eliminating the risk of seizures that result from flashing or blinking animations and risky color combinations.

 - Vision Impaired Profile: this profile adjusts the website so that it is accessible to the majority of visual impairments such as Degrading Eyesight, Tunnel Vision, Cataract, Glaucoma, and others.

 - Cognitive Disability Profile: this profile provides various assistive features to help users with cognitive disabilities such as Autism, Dyslexia, CVA, and others, to focus on the essential elements more easily.

 - ADHD Friendly Profile: this profile significantly reduces distractions and noise, to help people with ADHD and Neurodevelopmental disorders browse, read, and focus on the essential elements more easily.

 - Blind Users Profile (Screen-readers): this profile adjusts the website to be compatible with screen-readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack. A screen-reader is installed on the blind user’s computer, and this site is compatible with it.

 - Keyboard Navigation Profile (Motor-Impaired): this profile enables motor-impaired persons to operate the website using the keyboard Tab, Shift+Tab, and the Enter keys. Users can also use shortcuts such as “M” (menus), “H” (headings), “F” (forms), “B” (buttons), and “G” (graphics) to jump to specific elements.
Additional UI, design, and readability adjustments
1. Font adjustments – users can increase and decrease its size, change its family (type), adjust the spacing, alignment, line height, and more.

2. Color adjustments – users can select various color contrast profiles such as light, dark, inverted, and monochrome. Additionally, users can swap color schemes of titles, texts, and backgrounds, with over 7 different coloring options. Animations – epileptic users can stop all running animations with the click of a button.

3. Animations controlled by the interface include videos, GIFs, and CSS flashing transitions.

4. Content highlighting – users can choose to emphasize important elements such as links and titles. They can also choose to highlight focused or hovered elements only.

5. Audio muting – users with hearing devices may experience headaches or other issues due to automatic audio playing. This option lets users mute the entire website instantly.

6. Cognitive disorders – we utilize a search engine that is linked to Wikipedia and Wiktionary, allowing people with cognitive disorders to decipher meanings of phrases, initials, slang, and others.

7. Additional functions – we provide users the option to change cursor color and size, use a printing mode, enable a virtual keyboard, and many other functions.
Assistive technology and browser compatibility
We aim to support the widest array of browsers and assistive technologies as possible, so our users can choose the best fitting tools for them, with as few limitations as possible. Therefore, we have worked very hard to be able to support all major systems that comprise over 95% of the user market share including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera and Microsoft Edge, JAWS, and NVDA (screen readers), both for Windows and for MAC users.
Notes, comments, and feedback
Despite our very best efforts to allow anybody to adjust the website to their needs, there may still be pages or sections that are not fully accessible, are in the process of becoming accessible, or are lacking an adequate technological solution to make them accessible. Still, we are continually improving our accessibility, adding, updating, and improving its options and features, and developing and adopting new technologies. All this is meant to reach the optimal level of accessibility, following technological advancements. If you wish to contact us, please use the following email help@watchrapport.com
